- 2 cups white flour
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- 2 teaspoons oil (for dough)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (for dough)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
- 1/2 cup chopped potato
- 2 teaspoons fried ground nut
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- salt, to taste
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup oil, for frying
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the white flour, corn flour, 2 teaspoons of oil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and water in a bowl to make a soft dough. Cover and set aside.
Step 2
Pour the 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a pan and heat it. Add the whole cumin seeds (jeera), chopped cauliflower, chopped potato, fried ground nut, ground black pepper, ginger paste, cumin powder, and salt to taste. Fry the mixture well. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for up to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Form the dough into a ball, flatten it, and roll it out into a circle. Cut the circle into two equal pieces. Form each piece into a cone shape using your fingers. Fill the cone with the prepared vegetable mixture and press the two dampened edges together to seal the top of the cone.
Step 4
Heat the 1 cup of oil for frying in a deep pan. Fry the samosas in the heated oil until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
