- 1/4 cup Flour
- 5 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1 Egg
- 3 tablespoons Milk
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
- dash Salt
- spoonful Cherry Pie Filling(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare two smaller 6-8 oz. ramekins. The batter will be enough to fill each ramekin a little over halfway.
Step 2
In a small mixing bowl, whip all the ingredients together until smooth.
Step 3
Cook the batter in the microwave, one ramekin at a time, until the cake is puffed up.
Step 4
Serve immediately, optionally with a scoop of ice cream, a dollop of whipped topping, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar/cocoa powder mixture.
Step 5
(Optional Variation) To make mini black forest cakes, put half of the batter in the bottom of each ramekin, add a small spoonful of cherry pie filling, then top with the remaining batter and cook as directed.
