My Asian Calamari is different...you have to marinate it overnight. Once you take out from the fridge, coat with flour mixture and fry at once...while still cold. Yes, thats the trick . The result is wonderfully satisfying, so soft yet crunchy.

- 0.5 teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon curry powder

Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the salt, sugar, pepper, egg white, curry powder, all spice, and cornstarch.

Mix well with the squid rings. Marinate for one hour or overnight.

When ready to cook, in a plastic or freezer bag, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Shake well to combine. Add the squid rings to the bag in batches.
Step 5
Fry the squid rings at once, ensuring the oil is hot.
