Chinese Pork Steaks

Ingredients

1 beef bouillon cube
1/3 cup hot water
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
6 pork steaks

Preparation

In a small bowl dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add honey, soy sauce, sugar and salt, stir to mix. Place steaks in a 9 x 13 inch shallow baking dish (non- metal). Pour soy sauce mixture over steaks, cover, and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours, turning occasionally. Remove steaks and reserve marinade. Grill 3 inches from medium coals about 15 minutes turn and grill 15 minutes. Brush frequently with marinade.
