- 3 cups full fat milk
- 1 cup double cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 dessert spoon rose water
- 6 pods green cardamom
- slithered pistachios(optional)
- slithered almonds(optional)
- rose syrup(optional)
- edible gold leaf(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare little tart cases to use as molds for the kulfi.
Step 2
Combine the full-fat milk, double cream, sugar, rose water, and green cardamom pods in a heavy-bottomed pan.
Step 3
Slowly heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, and reduce the volume by half.
Step 4
Remove the reduced mixture from heat and allow it to cool completely.
Step 5
Stir in the slithered pistachios and slithered almonds.
Step 6
Transfer the cooled mixture to an ice cream machine and churn until it is slightly solid but still liquidy.
Step 7
Pour the churned kulfi into the prepared tart cases and freeze until set.
Step 8
Decorate as desired with rose syrup or edible gold leaf before serving.
