Baked Fried Rice

Ingredients

1/2 cup oil
3 med. onions
1 (8 oz.) can mushroom stems
pieces w/juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 ounces soy sauce
1 tablespoon gravy master
1 can bean sprouts, with juice
1 pound lean hamburger
4 eggs, beaten
1 pound long grain converted rice, cooked

Preparation

Saute oil, onions and peppers. Add eggs and cook until done. Fry hamburger separately and drain. Combine all ingredients in large casserole or roasting pan. Mix evenly.

Cover with foil and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes, replacing foil each time. After 1/2 hour pour 1/2 cup hot water evenly over rice. Continue to bake. (Fills 13 x 9 inch pan to the top.)
