Instructions
Step 1
<a href="/XZFHRHHF">Heat </a>olive oil in a large saute pan over medium high <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat.</a>
Step 2
<a href="/DYM522S6">Rub </a>the spice mixture into the pork <a href="/6L7QNTJV">chops.</a>
Step 3
When the pan is very hot, oil should be shimmering, place the <a href="/6L7QNTJV">chops </a>in the pan and don't move them.
Step 4
Let them <a href="/Z27T5R5G">caramelize </a>on the first side for about 5 minutes then <a href="/TCL6N2Z7">flip </a>and <a href="/CV6SZLKG">sear </a>the other side.

<a href="/B52FHCF2">Turn </a>the <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat </a>down to medium low, cover the <a href="/6L7QNTJV">chops </a>loosely with tinfoil and cook for another 10-15 minutes, f<a href="/TCL6N2Z7">lipping o</a>nce halfway through. Cook until the pork c<a href="/6L7QNTJV">hops r</a>each about 140F or until light pink in the center.
Step 6
While the <a href="/6L7QNTJV">chops </a>are cooking, <a href="/RSDQ7YW8">peel,</a> <a href="/7RTG3XPP">core </a>and dice the apples.
Step 7
<a href="/XZFHRHHF">Heat </a>the butter in a small saute pan over medium <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat.</a>
Step 8
When the butter has <a href="/64W3NS5R">melted,</a> add the apples, <a href="/DRM2WPZ4">stirring </a>to <a href="/6BTCX64M">coat.</a>
Step 9
Add the <a href="/D434P8MH">brown </a>sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. <a href="/H7TNTGFZ">Season </a>with a pinch of <a href="/DPSVTKVY">salt </a>and pepper.
Step 10
Pour in about 2 tbsp of water; saute until the apples begin to break down and the water <a href="/LXP6HLBF">thickens </a>into a sauce, about 8-10 minutes, depending on the crispness of the apple.
Step 11
The chutney will be slightly sweet but not as sweet as a dessert.
