cups macadamia nuts coarsely chopped |
1 ½ |
cups sugar |
1 ½ |
cups light corn syrup |
1 ½ |
teaspoons baking soda |
Step 1 |
Place all ingredients in a copper pot or a nonstick pot over medium heat. Bring to the hard crack stage (310 degrees) and remove from heat. With a wooden spoon, stir in baking soda. |
Step 2 |
Pour the mixture from the pot onto a lined sheet tray in an even layer let cool. Break into pieces, or can spoon onto lined sheet tray to make individual pieces. |
Step 3 |
This recipe yields 1 3/4 pounds. |
Step 4 |
Yield: 1 3/4 pounds |
