[edit] Ingredients

cups macadamia nuts coarsely chopped

1 ½

cups sugar

1 ½

cups light corn syrup

1 ½

teaspoons baking soda

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a copper pot or a nonstick pot over medium heat. Bring to the hard crack stage (310 degrees) and remove from heat. With a wooden spoon, stir in baking soda.

Step 2

Pour the mixture from the pot onto a lined sheet tray in an even layer let cool. Break into pieces, or can spoon onto lined sheet tray to make individual pieces.

Step 3

This recipe yields 1 3/4 pounds.

Step 4

Yield: 1 3/4 pounds
