Chocolate Ganache

About

Place cake on wire rack before icing, as the excess ganache will drip off. Once the ganache is set, transfer the cake to a serving platter.

In a medium saucepan, bring whipping cream just to boiling over medium-high heat. Remove from heat.

Add chocolate- do not stir. Let stand 5 minutes, then stir until smooth. Cool for 15 minutes.
