cup unbleached all-purpose flour

½

cup cocoa powder

cup sugar

½

teaspoon salt

1

cup pure maple syrup

½

cup silken tofu

cup vegetable oil

2

teaspoons vanilla extract

1

cup dairy-free chocolate chips, melted

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mist an 8 x 8-in baking dish with nonstick cooking oil spray. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt and stir with a wire whisk. In a blender, combine the maple syrup, tofu, vegetable oil, and vanilla and process until smooth. Add the melted chocolate chips and process until smooth. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry. cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
