Chewy Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups soft butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsps vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips.

Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not over bake!) Cool slightly, then remove from sheet.
