I love the colour of this very refreshing and healthy Mixed Fruits Jelly. It was made with fresh orange juice and green kiwifruit puree and I also added some fresh dragon fruit to bring up the vibrant colors of the jellies. Don't you agree? I hope this Mixed Fruits Jelly will brighten up your day too.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams Orange juice
  • 30 grams Sugar(optional)
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Agar agar powder
  • 220 grams Green kiwifruit puree (from 2 pieces kiwifruit)
  • 100 grams Water
  • 30 grams Sugar(optional)
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Agar agar powder
  • 1 Dragon fruit
  • Lime or apple juice drink

Instructions

1

Step 1

2 hours

Boil orange juice, 30g sugar, and 1 1/4 teaspoons agar agar powder together in a pot at medium heat. Stir continuously during the process. Once it boils, remove from heat and continue to stir for another minute. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a small cake pan. Use a spoon to remove any air bubbles. Allow to cool down completely before refrigerating for 2 hours.

2

Step 2

Remove the skin from the green kiwifruit and cut it into cubes. Puree the kiwifruit with 100 grams of water in a liquidizer, then pour the puree into a pot.

3

Step 3

Using the same boiling method as for the orange jelly (boiling the kiwifruit puree, 30g sugar, and 1 1/4 teaspoons agar agar powder), boil the mixture. Once complete, pour it directly into a baking pan (straining is not required). Allow to cool completely and then refrigerate.

Step 4

To serve, cut the cooled orange jelly, kiwifruit jelly, and dragon fruit into cubes. Mix them together in a large bowl or individual serving cups. Pour a little lime or apple juice drink over as a dressing.
