4-5 thick slices of ginger, peeled
½ small cucumber, washed, cut into thin slices
½ organic lemon, sliced
Juice of ½ lemon
½ organic lime, sliced
Juice of ½ lime
½ nectarine or peach, cut into small pieces
10-15 fresh melissa leaves
2 liters water
1-2 drops of liquid stevia (optional)
Place all the ingredients into a larger water pitcher and gently mush with the handle of a wooden spoon.
Fill the pitcher with tap water, stir together and refrigerate a few hours to let flavours meld before drinking.
Serve, strained (without any chunks) and well chilled, with the addition of ice.
Add more water to the pitcher one or two more times before it loses flavour. Keeps for up to 3 days.
