Smoked Vegetables

Ingredients

smoking woods: cherry,apple,hickory (my preference
wine, bier, or bourbon

Preparation

Soak smoking wood in alcohol of choice, get the coal bed in smoker started

Peel vegetables, cut into desired shape and thickness

Once coal bed is ready, and smoker is at desired temp (90 degrees i've found is best), place vegetables in smoker for about 4 hours

Check temperature of smoker, and appearance of vegetables, periodically because air flow will cause the temperature of the smoker to rise or drop randomly.

I generally use the finished product on sandwiches,,,pizzas,,salads..steaks..or in soups. The smoke tasts makes the normal meal extraordinary !!
