Prawns Stir Fry

BeginnerIt is really a very simple recipe prepared from ingredients which are incredibly easily available everywhere. It is very much a Chinese cuisine inspired dish as the name suggests. This dish will taste a little bit sweet, tangy and the prawns are soft, succulent and moist. Extremely easy to prepare and I guarantee you the end result is mouth-watering, delicious, tender yummy prawns.

- 2 green chillies(optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Schezwan Chutney
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 400-450 grams medium to large sized Prawns

Step 1
Clean the prawns and remove the black thread. Slit large prawns slightly if desired, though this step is optional.

20 to 30 minutes
Mix the cleaned prawns, soy sauce, vinegar, Schezwan chutney, and sugar together in a bowl. Marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan or wok on a high flame.

Once the pan is hot, add the marinated prawns to the pan. Optionally, add two slit green chillies just before adding the prawns if you prefer a spicier dish.

2 to 3 minutes
Stir fry the prawns for 2 to 3 minutes.
