- 1 quart buttermilk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup oil(optional)
- 1/2 cup melted shortening
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons Oat Bran(optional)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 15 ounce box Raisin Bran cereal

<a href="/technique/7S3QCKWK/mix">Mix</a> cereal, sugar, flour, soda, spice and <a href="/technique/DPSVTKVY/salt">salt.</a> Add eggs, shortening, butter, vanilla and buttermilk. <a href="/technique/7S3QCKWK/mix">Mix</a> well and <a href="/technique/36R8LV5G/store">store</a> in covered container in refrigerator. Fill enough muffin tins 2/3 full as you need at a time. <a href="/technique/RNT367Z2/bake">Bake</a> in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Batter will keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Makes 60 muffins.
