Ever Ready Muffins
Mix cereal, sugar, flour, soda, spice and salt. Add eggs, shortening, butter, vanilla and buttermilk. Mix well and store in covered container in refrigerator. Fill enough muffin tins 2/3 full as you need at a time. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Batter will keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Makes 60 muffins.
