  • 1 patty 7.0 ounce corn-fed ground beef patty
  • 2 slices thick-cut, hickory smoked bacon, fully cooked until browned
  • 1 slice pepper jack cheese
  • 1 bun large hamburger bun, TOASTED
  • 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • 3 slices dill pickle hamburger slices
  • 1/2 avocado avocado, sliced
  • 1 slice tomato, sliced
  • 1 slice onion, sliced
  • lettuce
  • ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise(optional)

Step 1

Grill the burger, seasoned to your preference.

30 seconds

Place a cheese slice on top of the burger during the last 30 seconds on the grill; do not exceed this time to prevent the cheese from dripping.

Toast the hamburger bun.

Spread Thousand Island dressing on the inside of both halves of the toasted bun.

Layer lettuce and onion slices on the bottom bun.

Next, layer the tomato and pickle slices.

Place the grilled burger with melted cheese on top of the layered vegetables.

Lay the cooked bacon slices on top of the burger.

Layer on the avocado slices.

Close the burger with the top bun. Optionally, wrap with wax paper or foil, or insert a chopstick in the middle to hold it together.
