- 1 patty 7.0 ounce corn-fed ground beef patty
- 2 slices thick-cut, hickory smoked bacon, fully cooked until browned
- 1 slice pepper jack cheese
- 1 bun large hamburger bun, TOASTED
- 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
- 3 slices dill pickle hamburger slices
- 1/2 avocado avocado, sliced
- 1 slice tomato, sliced
- 1 slice onion, sliced
- lettuce
- ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Grill the burger, seasoned to your preference.
Step 2
Place a cheese slice on top of the burger during the last 30 seconds on the grill; do not exceed this time to prevent the cheese from dripping.
Step 3
Toast the hamburger bun.
Step 4
Spread Thousand Island dressing on the inside of both halves of the toasted bun.
Step 5
Layer lettuce and onion slices on the bottom bun.
Step 6
Next, layer the tomato and pickle slices.
Step 7
Place the grilled burger with melted cheese on top of the layered vegetables.
Step 8
Lay the cooked bacon slices on top of the burger.
Step 9
Layer on the avocado slices.
Step 10
Close the burger with the top bun. Optionally, wrap with wax paper or foil, or insert a chopstick in the middle to hold it together.
