- 1 cup onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons butter or oil
- 1 pound shrimp, cleaned and cooked
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 can large whole tomatoes
- 1 can chicken broth (13.5 oz)
- Bay Leaf(optional)
- 3 tablespoons parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- Cayenne(optional)
- Salt(optional)
- Pepper(optional)

Step 1
Brown diced onion in butter (or oil) in a skillet. Add shrimp, white rice, large whole tomatoes, and chicken broth. Stir in parsley, cloves, marjoram, and chili powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a large baking dish, cover, and bake for 90 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
