Twinkie Or Ho Ho Roll Cake

Ingredients

1 cake mix, prepared as directed on package
1 cup Milk
5 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Grease a rimmed cookie sheet and bake cake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Invert onto a clean, tea towel.

Roll cake into towel and cool.

For Filling:

Cream together 1 cup sugar and 1 cup crisco and set aside.

In medium saucepan over low heat sift flour into milk, stirring constantly, blend until thick paste. Let cool completely If, you don’t have a sifter, add flour to the pan first then gradually add milk.

When cool mix with sugar mixture and add vanilla.

Unroll cake and spread filling on top; re-roll cake.

Slice cake into desired thickness about 1 inch.
