Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles
These turn out a little bit more bready than their white flower breathren, but are entirely delicious nonetheless. Some folks might prefer less Cream of Tartar, but I love the zip that a full teaspoon gives them. I have also experimented with adding an extra tablespoon or so of brown sugar and butter to make them softer with some success. Finally, I've cooked these in my convection oven at 350f for 8 minutes and they come out perfect and stay soft.
