- 1 roll Puff pastry
- 500 grams Potatoes
- as needed Salt
- as needed Pepper
- 250 grams Queen City Sausage
- 250 grams American sliced cheese
- 1 large Egg
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and slice them.
Step 2
Slice the Queen City sausage.
Step 3
Thinly slice the American cheese.
Step 4
Unroll the puff pastry onto a sheet of baking paper.

Arrange a layer of sliced potatoes in the center of the puff pastry.

Cover the potatoes with a layer of sliced sausage and a layer of sliced cheese.

Repeat the layers of potatoes, sausage, and cheese.

Season the filling with salt and pepper as needed.

Fold the puff pastry over to close the calzone and securely seal the edges.

In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush the top of the calzone with the beaten egg.
