- 8 unsalted cashews
- 1/3 cups rolled oats
- 1 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoons brown sugar
- 5 cups pitted cherries (2 pounds)
- 1/3 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cups shelled Wonderful Pistachios
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350.
Step 2
Clean, pit, and halve cherries.
Step 3
Add to cherries the flour, brown sugar, lemon juice, and flour.
Step 4
Combine until flour and sugar have dissolved.
Step 5
In a food processor, pulse together butter, flour, brown sugar, salt, rolled oats, cashews, and pistachios.
Step 6
Pulse until all the ingredients are well incorporated and it starts to clump.
Step 7
Butter a 9 inch pie pan and pour your cherry mixture in.
Step 8
Make sure you get all that cherry juice at the bottom because that will be nice and bubbly after it's baked.
Step 9
Sprinkle the top with the pistachio tinted green crumble and bake for 25-35 minutes or until the top is golden and you can see eruptions of cherry from underneath.
Step 10
Let it cool for 5 minutes.
Step 11
