Hot Baked Stuffed Clams

Ingredients

1 teaspoon powdered garlic or 2 cloves chopped fresh garlic
1 tablespoon fresh diced onion
1 teaspoon parsley
3/8 cup bread crumbs, divided
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Saute garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, and 1/4 cup bread crumbs in olive oil for about 2 minutes, mixing thoroughly.

When onion and garlic start to brown, place mixture into a bowl; add in clams and clam juice, plus salt, and mix.

Spoon into clean clam shells, sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.

Place on a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
