Tea-Bone Sauce

Ingredients

2 teaspoons loose green tea (2 green tea bags)
3 tablespoons minced green onions
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon minced and seeded chili pepper (optional)
3 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation

Combine boiling water and tea in a bowl; cover and steep for 3 minutes. Strain the tea into another bowl (or remove tea bags).

Add remaining ingredients, stir and then cover and chill for about 30 minutes.

Brush sauce on steak, chops or shrimp before grilling and/or use as a dipping sauce.

This sauce is especially delicious on steaks and shrimp.
