Cream Cheese Frosting For Cupcakes

Ingredients

125 grams Softened Butter
200 grams Cream Cheese
1500 grams icing sugar

Preparation

Combine the butter and cream cheese in a large bowl (if you have an electric whisk use it!)

Add the icing sugar a bit at a time until a creamy but not runny consistency has been achieved.

Use immediately to decorate cakes and buns or keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to three days.

This recipe achieves a delightful, light and creamy frosting ideal for delicate cakes and buns. It is incredibly easy to colour some of it and use it to pipe on leaves and flowers. Simply add a drop of food colour for a pastel shade or three to four drops to achieve a vibrant colour. Complete your cake with sugar crafted flowers or shapes
