Rueben Bread

Ingredients

1 cup water plus
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon molasses
1 cup rye flour
2 cups bread machine flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon bread machine yeast
1 tablespoon margarine
2 teaspoons caraway seed
2 teaspoons dried minced onion

Preparation

Add first eight ingredients to bread pan in the order recommended by the machine's manufacturer.

Add the dried onion and caraway seed when the fruit/nut signal sounds.

This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
