Summer Lavender Lemonade

Use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest from two lemons, being sure to leave the white pith behind

While the lemon zest and lavender are simmering, place a large strainer lined with cheesecloth or a damp paper towel over another pot or heat-proof bowl

Let lemonade cool completely, approximately 45 minutes
