- 1 loaf ciabatta
- 1 pound brie cheese
- 1 dash extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 squares Xocai Healthy Chocolate X Power Squares, chopped
- 1 bunch fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
Step 1
Slice ciabatta bread into 1/2-inch slices.
Step 2
Cut brie cheese into 1/4-inch slices.
Step 3
To assemble the sandwich, lightly brush one side of a ciabatta slice with olive oil.
Step 4
Place the oiled bread slice, oiled side down, onto a preheated panini press or George Foreman Grill.
Step 5
Top the bread with brie slices.
Step 6
Sprinkle one broken-up Xocai Healthy Chocolate X Power Square over the brie.
Step 7
Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh basil over the cheese and chocolate.
Step 8
Top with another ciabatta slice and brush its top with olive oil.
Step 9
Press the sandwich on a medium, hot grill or panini press.
Step 10
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden and the cheese is melted.
Step 11
Let the sandwich cool just slightly.
Step 12
Cut the sandwich.
