Ingredients

6 pounds Wholemeal Flour
3 pounds Strong White Flour
8 teaspoons Bread Soda (sieved)
8 teaspoons salt
8 ounces bran
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 liters Buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly.

Add the milk and mix

Dispense into loaf tins.

For a soft crust cover each tin with another tin for the entire cooking process

Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 80 mins
