Yuzu Shiso Granita

Ingredients

1 cup Sake
1/4 cup Yuzu Juice
6 Shiso Leaves, finely chopped

Preparation

Boil the Sake to remove the alcohol, otherwise it will be bitter. Chill the sake in the refrigerator, or if in a hurry place in a bowl and then put a plastic bag filled with ice inside it.

Mix in with yuzu juice and chopped Shiso

Freeze until the texture of sorbet in an ice cream maker or use zipper bag freezing method.

This savory granita or sorbet is wonderful on oysters on the half shell.
