Mexican Chef Salad

Ingredients

1 head of lettuce, chopped
1 avocado, peeled and diced
2 medium tomatoes, diced
8 ounces colby jack cheese, shredded
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 pepper
15 oz. can of black beans, drained and warmed up
1 3.5 oz. package of tri color tortilla strips (you can substitute crushed tortilla chips)

Preparation

In a medium size skillet add beef, onions, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper

Saute for about 10 minutes and then stir in garlic

Combine the meat, black beans, tortilla strips, thousand island dressing and fold into the large bowl
.
