Brigadeiros - Brazilian Chocolate Truffles
This recipe is LOVED by kids. I no longer do it. My tween daughter is the one that takes care of this one. She not only loves making them as of course loves to eat them and same with her friends.

- 1 can sweet condensed milk
- 7 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- sugar(optional)
- cocoa powder(optional)
- coconut flakes(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
In a pot, melt the butter on low heat.
Step 2
Add the sweet condensed milk and stir.
Step 3
Add the cocoa powder.
Step 4
Continue stirring with a wooden spoon until the mixture becomes a paste and no longer sticks to the pot.
Step 5
Before turning off the heat, ensure the paste is tight and very firm.
Step 6
Let the mixture cool, then refrigerate for a couple of hours.
Step 7
Remove from the refrigerator and form into nicely formed round balls.
Step 8
Roll the balls in sugar, cocoa powder, coconut flakes, or other desired coatings.
