  • 500 gram raspberries
  • 2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Step 1

10 minutes, then 5-10 minutes

Place fruit and lemon juice in a pan and crush with a potato masher. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Add sugar and simmer for a further 5-10 minutes or until the jam has sufficiently thickened.

Step 2

To test for readiness: Remove a teaspoon of liquid from the jam and place it on a plate. Allow it to cool. If a skin forms and the jam holds its shape, it is ready.

Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal.
