MOM’S BEST HOMEMADE BANANA BREAD

Ingredients

3 very ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°

Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla, egg

Add bananas.

With a potato masher or a fork, mash in banana and mix well.

Add flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir until everything is combined.

Add nuts and stir again.

Spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Pour mixture into loaf pan.

Cook for 55-65 minutes or until an inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
