Grilled Jo Jos
Have you made jo jos before? If you haven't, you should and I have just the grilled jo jo recipe for you! These potatoes are tasty and a great grill side dish! So, we do start this off on the stove top just to get a little bit of softness, but then we move it to the grill so that we can get that crispy, charred, grill taste that we love. Add in some oil and seasonings and we really have a beautiful grilled side dish.

Grilled Jo Jos – The Potato You Didn’t Know You NeededIngredients
- 2 medium potatoes, cut each into 6 wedges
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper(optional)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Bring pot of water to boil
Step 2
While water is heating, cut each potato into 6 wedges
Step 3
Add potatoes to water and boil for no more than 5 minutes. Test with fork at 3 minutes. Should still be firm and we do not want the potatoes to be soft. Remove before they get soft.

Add potatoes and rest of ingredients to large bowl

Preheat Grill to 500

Place in lightly oiled vegetable basket and cook over indirect heat

Check for doneness at 15-30 minutes.
