
Bob Kramer is a master bladesmith who sells knives for thousands of dollars (literally, his custom-made knives go for $10,000 or more). They're also really really sharp. So sharp that they can get through a completely full can of Coca Cola easily.
He's been featured in the New Yorker previously. The demand is so high for his products that people enter a lifelong waiting list for a knife. Five people are taken off the list chronologically each month and five more are chosen at random.
