This rainbow bento from Jewelmaker is a colorful lunch. The bento included one fruit, one veggie, and one colored cube of rice. Shani, the creative genius behind this bento, used strawberries, oranges, pineapple, green grapes, blueberries and purple grapes for the fruit and red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, carrots, orange cauliflower, golden beets, crookneck squash, snap peas, turnip, and purple kale for the vegetables. To color the rice, she grated vegetables, placed them in a cheesecloth, and then squeezed the natural liquid (no Red Dye no. 4 here, it's all natural). This rainbow bento is a great way to convince your kids to eat more fruits and vegetables.
