Pinot Meunier Grapes
The Pinot Meunier grape is most important in the Champagne region of France. It is one of the three authorized grapes for making Champagne along with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Pinot Meunier is a mutation of Pinot Noir that was already known in the 16th century. It is widely grown in the Champagne region and sparsely in parts of Germany and other parts of France.
