Bergamot

About

Bergamot is an American herb that was once widely used by native Americans. The dark pink, red and purple flowers smell pleasantly of oranges. The young leaves can be sparingly used in fruit salads and fruit drinks. Five or six large fresh leaves or 1 teaspoon of dried leaves in 8 ounces of boiling water makes a refreshing and relaxing cup of tea.
