Mountain rose peaches have a large, white flesh and medium in size. Most are very round in shape. They are also very sweet compared to some types of peaches and have a high flavor index. Mountain Rose Peaches are relatively harder compared to other peaches, but they are very nice to grow in a home garden. They got their name because the when the buds of the peach tree bloom, they are similar and pretty as a rose. Usually the average harvesting time is about early August. Mountain Rose Peaches can be dried and added with other herbs such as chamomile to make different flavors or teas, which have been said to be very calming and helps with relaxation.
