Summer Mac Apple
1)First cutting the cooking apple desired or combine several varieties.
Using a knife, remove the core, stem, and seeds.
2)Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water to a saucepan. Add apples and bring water and apples to a boil. Reduce heat after reaching a boil and continue cooking until apples are soft.
3)Add a teaspoon of vanilla. Add 1/2 cup of sugar, adding more or less to desired taste and flavor.
4)Use an immersion blender and puree apples with peels attached until mixture is smooth. Add more water if consistency is too thick and season if desired with more vanilla.
5)Some apples are sweeter than others so add a small amount of sugar first and then sweeten to the desired taste.
