Sweethaven Peach
About
A Sweethaven Peach is a variety of the peach fruit (Latin name Prunus persica) that grows in sunny, normal to moist climates. The Sweethaven Peach is often the type you will find labeled as a generic "peach" in grocery stores. The soft, lightly furred skin is delicate and bruises easily; the skin's color varies from a light white-yellow through orange-yellow to deeper blushed areas of crimson tint. The fruit, when ripe, is soft and extremely juicy and sweet, with a light orange color and a large stone (pit). A medium-sized peach is halfway between the size of a tennis and a golf ball and contains about 30 calories.
