Exclusive Documentary Preview Screening at IFBC: GMO OMG!

It’s easy to see how much salt, fat and protein is in a product. You just read the label. In 64 countries around the world it’s just as easy to find out if the food you’re about to eat contains ingredients that have been genetically modified. But not in the USA or Canada. 80% of our packaged foods contain GMOs (genetically modified organisms) but there’s no mandatory transparency. The only way you know you’re not eating GMOs is if your food is organic.

At Nature’s Path we believe you should know what you’re eating. That’s why we voluntarily have our products third-party certified organic and Non-GMO Project verified. We want you to see the labels and know exactly what you’re eating. No surprises, just great taste and peace of mind.

But your right to know goes so much farther than the cereal aisle. So when we met Jeremy Siefert, a passionate father and filmmaker, who was also concerned about GMOs, we decided to help him create a documentary about it called GMO OMG. The film starts with Jeremy’s six-year old son Finn, who is fascinated with seeds, and then grows into his family’s quest to understand where our food comes from and what that means for our future. The film tells the story of GMOs in a compelling, heart-warming, way that educates and inspires.

Because we know you love good food as much as we do, we’re hosting a private preview screening just for you here in Seattle prior to the film’s official launch this Fall.
