Sofritas Are Here! Give ‘Em a Try at IFBC!
The International Food Bloggers Conference is one short month away. At Chipotle Mexican Grill, we’re excited to serve our newest, first-of-its-kind vegan menu item to the conference attendees: “Sofritas.”
Sofritas are shredded tofu braised with chipotle chilies, roasted poblanos, and a blend of aromatic spices, made with organic, non-GMO tofu from Oakland, California artisan producer, Hodo Soy.
An industry leader for organic, non-GMO tofu, Hodo Soy develops its tofu using artisanal methods of production. Right in line with our “Food With Integrity” mission, Hodo Soy’s mission is to craft the best-tasting whole bean tofu and has become one of the most reputable tofu producers in the country, making the partnership a natural fit. It’s been a steady journey for Sofritas, which first launched in the San Francisco Bay Area and shortly after extended to all of California because they were just so darn delicious. As of July 29th, we’re very excited to now offer Sofritas to our customers throughout the entire Pacific Northwest region!
Available at all California, Oregon, Washington and Vancouver, Canada restaurant locations, we’re eager to share the newest tofu item with the IFBC attendees and look forward to hearing your comments.
