Man Arrested for Eating Human Liver

Russian authorities have arrested a man whose cannibalistic tendencies culminated in a meal of human liver with potatoes. Reuters reports that police had discovered several body parts in various spots in Moscow and finally found the suspect on Tuesday as he was sitting down for dinner.

What's even creepier is that the man knew the person whose liver he was eating. A representative for the prosecutor general's investigative unit told Reuters that the suspect "admitted his crime and that he had eaten part of his acquaintance's liver." Authorities aren't sure how the acquaintance died, although the gory details are sure to leak in the coming weeks.
