Banana-Split Triffle
Ingredients
3 cups milk
2 packages instant banana pudding and pie filling (3.4-ounces each)
1 package cream cheese (8-ounce), softened
2 containers frozen nondairy whipped topping (8-ounces), thawed and divided
1 box wafer cookies (12-ounces)
4 bananas, sliced to 1/4-inch thickness
1 can cherry pie filling (21-ounces)
1 jar prepared hot fudge sauce (12.25 ounces)
1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped
maraschino cherries

Combine the pudding mixture with the cream-cheese mixture, beating until smooth

Layer half of the cookies in the bottom of a trifle bowl, standing some upright around the base of the bowl

Add one-third of pudding mixture, half of the banana slices, and cherry pie filling.

Repeat the layers with remaining wafers, pudding mixture, and bananas

Sprinkle with peanuts

Garnish with cherries

Cover tightly and store in the refridgerator
