Kuka
About
Kuka, the leaves of the African baobab trees, are eaten both fresh and as a dry powder. Young, fresh baobab leaves are similar to spinach and are used to make soup. The dried leaves are used to make a powder which is used as a thickener or used medicinally to treat kidney and bladder disease, asthma, insect bites, and several other maladies. Kuka is a source of Calcium and Vitamin C.
