The Late Harrison Apple is unique to the Apple family because of its rich history. Originating in Essex County, New Jersey, early 19th century, it is also
known as: Harrison Cider, Long Stem, and Harrison's Newark)
Medium in size and round to oblong in shape, the yellow skin has black dots, with a yellow flesh that is coarse and dry.
This apple can be enjoyed in October when it is at it's peak. The Late Harrison Apple is also a fantastic apple to use when making homemade cider.
