Candy Bar Cookies


1 roll sugar cookie dough (I used Pillsbury.)
assorted miniature chocolate candy bars (I used the ones that are the size of di
Chocolate chips for drizzle (Optional)


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Slice the dough into 1/4 inch thick slices (or grab tablespoons of homemade dough and flatten). Place candy bar in the middle, and wrap the dough around, rolling it in your hands to make it into a ball. Place cookies with at least an inch space between on a greased cookie sheet or a Silpat (I suggest a Silpat if possible.). Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges. Let cool, and transfer to wax paper. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave oven safe bowl/measuring cup until melted, in 10 second intervals. Be sure to stir after each interval; chocolate chips holds their shape when melted. Stir chocolate with a fork
