Nutella Strawberry Dream

This recipe was entered in The Foodista Best of Food Blogs Cookbook contest, a compilation of the world’s best food blogs which was published in Fall 2010.
Ingredients
1 cup of Nutella, warmed
1 container of fresh whipping cream
Fresh strawberries, diced
package Phyllo dough or pastry shells, cook as directed on
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation

Warm Nutella in a glass bowl in 30 second increments until warmed up and smooth, set aside.

Make whipping cream as directed on package just don’t add sugar you don’t need it the Nutella adds all the flavor you need.

Fold the Nutella and strawberries into the whipping cream.

Either scoop into pastry shells or layer in between phyllo dough.

Add more strawberries, drizzle with dark chocolate and powdered sugar.

About
Once upon a time, Hailee thought she wanted to be a chef. Then she got a job working in a coffee shop that also made breakfast and lunch. Those dreams went right out the window thanks to rude customers, coming home greasy and smelling like food. The good news is, we got a couple of great recipes out of it. First, Hailee's Potatoes and the best crab cakes......Hailee makes. The best recipe she made up was Nutella Strawberry Dream, even the name is cute!
